I installed this in my fish house but the flue pipe is an odd size. 2.5". I couldn't find 2.5 black stove pipe at my local home building supplier. To do it right you need a good double wall or class b vent with steel inner liner, (not aluminum) like standard water heater or furnace type pipe. IE; it has a hard time drafting when adding wood to a warm stove. Faint wait to heat food on it. Heats coffee while ice fishing! So much potential but need more flue options support from the factory. Maybe they do and I just missed it on their web site?

This stove is not bad it works well with alittle reinforcing. Door can slightly ajar, legs are uneven, wood rack inside wont last long, and the paint is cheaper than walmart. It burned wood like it was going out of style, with a little inginuity and a couple of free hours I fabricated a chimney flue and it works great. Next project is to build a baffle for it to help efficiency. All in all not bad if you are handy with a welder and a grinder to "beef" it up, looks like it was assembled in an 8th grade metals class but hey you get what you pay for, and in this case well worth it for my little ice shack, love the smell of wood burning. (spits on propane heater) This little heater will work just fine and might last might not but for the price I cant complain.

I was looking for an alturnitive way to heat my basement, I came accross stove, read all the reviews, and decided to take a chance on it. I an very glad I did. Basement size is 17'x35', and it warms up the first floor as well. In 3 weeks of use it has paid for itself vs. the price of 3 weeks of kerosine. The stove itself does have some design flaws, such as the loose fitting door, and it does seem to be a bit back heavy if you use all the piping that comes with it, and the paint the company used is the worst ever. You really need to burn this stove outside first before using it. Keep in mind that there is no flue that comes with the stove, so it will let in cold air when not in use. I found a stairahfom cup fits in the stack nicely.
